Swim Lessons in Bristol

Both of my kids are always counting down to their next swim lesson because they’re so excited to get back in the pool. They’ve both come so far as swimmers in the last couple of months, and I feel like the school does a great job showing them proper swimming and water safety techniques while still making the lessons exciting and fun.

Excellent swim school with top notch staff!! If you want your children to really learn how to swim and be safe in the water, this is the place to take them. The instructors are not only highly skilled, but also incredibly patient and encouraging with the kids. I've seen so many kids initially nervous about swimming, after just a few lessons gain so much confidence in the water. They truly understand how to make learning fun, safe and engaging with the kids.

Our 3 kids have enjoyed every minute of their swim lessons. There is always welcoming staff at the front desk, there is a large kids section to color and play in while you wait for class to start, the pool is always warm so the kids can actually focus on learning to swim instead of freezing, and the changing rooms are nice and big with hair dryers, clothes dryers, and bathrooms for after. We highly recommend here for your kids’ to learn water safety!

I recently started taking lessons after debating for a while about actually taking formal swim lessons. I never took proper swim lessons and in all honesty I have a fear of the water if my feet aren't touching the ground. They have adult classes, the class I am in is small which is great as my instructor is able to sort of tailor teaching based on where each person is. My instructor is understanding and not pushy at all which I love! I'm only a few weeks in but have been really happy with my experience so far and would recommend to anyone who wants to perhaps learn to swim for the first time or someone who wants improve their skills.

My son is Autistic and taking lessons to be safer around water. He has an extremely hard time with water on his face or head. Our instructor is fantastic and really knows how to comfort him when he is overestimulated but also continue to help him learn. I'm so thankful we are able to do these lessons and excited for my son to get all the benefits of swimming. I love being able to watch what he is doing but not being in eyesight where I could distract him. They have changing rooms and showers that were all very clean.

When I thought about taking swimming lessons, the idea was fear. I felt like I would drown. I thought I was going to be with little kids swimmimg. Boy was I wrong. The instructors are patient. The classes are not big. The instructors are professional and friendly. Soon enough, I had faced my fears and in the water. I still have a long way to go to reach my goal as a proficient swimmer, but I'm glad I made the choice to get started. There is something here for everyone; from the baby to the senior.

I see her learning techniques week after week that I honestly did not expect her to comprehend at 8 months, all thanks to our amazing instructor. We look forward to this weekly class as a family. My son was afraid of the water, but after a few classes with the instructors, he's come out of his shell and now loves swimming. They do not rush the kids and have a very gentle way of getting them to learn to love swimming, which is exactly what my family was looking for. I highly recommend giving them a try.

My daughter has severe autism and they do not hesitate to make accommodations so she can be comfortable during her weekly swim class. That really means the world to our family.
